Creating symbolic objects – for ages 10 to 14
Condensed format: two half-days of three hours each
An immersive workshop where each participant imagines and crafts a unique object – a talisman, piece of jewellery, or accessory – carrying personal stories and meaning. The process combines creative exploration, handcrafting skills, symbolic expression, and a collective presentation.

Workshop outline – total 6 hours
Day 1 – 3 hours: Introduction to the concept of talismans and stage accessories (visual and historical examples). Personal choice of the object to be created and definition of its symbolic intention. Sketching, selecting materials, and preparing base elements. Beginning the assembly (structure, main form, fastening).
Day 2 – 3 hours: Final touches, adding details, textures, and aesthetic finishes. Discovering tips to strengthen and embellish the object. Individual presentation where each participant shares the story or meaning linked to their creation. Collective sharing moment around all creations.
Materials provided
Copper wire, cords, beads, fabrics, leather, light wood, natural elements. Raw and aesthetic materials chosen to spark the imagination. Glue, safe cutting tools, blunt needles, small modelling tools. Age-appropriate, safe, and easy-to-handle materials. Each participant leaves with their talisman or stage accessory, carrying a personal intention.
Facilitation
Workshop led by Madame Qu.Antique – Nadia Besomi, multidisciplinary artist (tattooing, visual creation, stage performance). Intuitive, symbolic, and inclusive approach. Over twenty years of experience in creation and artistic guidance.
Rate
Two half-days (6 hours total), materials included: €400 incl. VAT. Capacity: ideally 8 to 10 participants (maximum 12). Travel costs beyond 30 km: €0.50/km. Invoicing through micro-entreprise. The rate includes project design, preparation, facilitation, provision of all materials, and final presentation of creations.
Suitable for
Leisure centres, media libraries, secondary schools and youth organisations, cultural or artistic festivals, one-off events with an educational or symbolic purpose.
